Alert’s Built-In Marketing Tools – Your Website!

This week’s marketing topic is something you probably
already have – a website!
Did you know that your customers can not only visit your website,
but start a quote there? This feature in Alert is called Web Requests,
and the next step is E-Commerce. (More on E- Commerce next week.)

But first things first – what’s a Web Request and how does it work withAlert?

* Maintain your own website and your own look and feel, along with ownership.
Your web developers use hooks to “talk” back and forth between
your website and Alert. Your inventory is shown on
your website and your customers can start a
bid by adding items to a shopping cart.

* Appropriate for event rental as well as general/tool/heavy equipment rental.

* In Alert, Web Requests appear at the counter and on the Operator Dashboard.

* Your customers have already done most of the work for you,
so you’re easily able to convert the web request into a bid for approval!

Web Requests (along with Customer Portal – more information coming in a couple weeks!)
have been available for several years in Alert. We have dozens of clients using this
eature and will be happy to send you links to some websites
so you can see them for yourselves.

You’re able to use any web developer of your choice,
and we have a couple who we recommend if you don’t know where to turn.
We’re happy to send you documents to send to your web developer for review.

If you’d like more information, please let us know at
and we’ll get in touch!
An example of what this could look like for your business is below.

Will you be in Las Vegas next week for The Special Event Show at the Mandalay Bay?
