Look What Alert Can Do!
Welcome to Alert’s weekly feature where we discuss things Alert
does that you may not know about!
Let’s PAWS and learn!
Exception Reports
Have you ever wondered exactly why you’re prompted for an explanation when
you make a change in Alert? We track those changes in logs called Exception Reports.
Managers, take note! You can run these Exception Reports to see who’s
making changes frequently, and why. These reports from our exception report generator track changes throughout the system
and can be found in the Ticket screen -> Reports -> Exception Report.
We even have a change/delete log in Codes & Setup with a handy report button!
This shows changes made via import/export as well.
To run an Exceptions Report, go to the Ticket screen -> Reports -> Exception Report.
Exceptions are tracked for all types of changes – the input screen for the ticket
exception report is shown below. Note that your customization can be scheduled, too!
Want to see a report each week of just the deleted tickets? Go ahead and schedule it!

You should have all received an email from the IAUA Board about the conference
and some new changes. That letter can be found HERE.
This week’s featured event is the Voting Review.
What exactly do we do in the Voting Review?
Individuals are able to lobby for a favorite of theirs on the voting list.
For instance, if Andy wants to see enhancement #11, he’ll explain
to the crowd why it’s so important for his business. Every store can pitch a
new enhancement to add to the list, too! We’re very unique in our
industry – no other software program out there allows their users this much
input in the direction of their program.

Labor Day
Alert will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day.
Perhaps our employees will hike out to the Maroon Bells,
like our own Abe Clinger did last week. Look at his gorgeous photo!
