Why should your staff register for the Alert Users Conference?

Let’s look at a neat class that’s totally free! Monday 11/2 at 11:30 MT is the class Branding Your Business Using Tools Within Alert. We know how much thought, time, and effort you’ve put into your branding. Why should you leave your brand behind when you operate within Alert? In this session, our instructor will explain some features that are built right into Alert to help you maintain your brand when communicating with your customers. We’ll discuss memos, HTML documents, customer surveys, and more.

Locked Free Text Notes

Do you ever need to add a note to your contract, but perhaps under a rental item or sales item instead of at the top or bottom? Locked Free Text Notes to the rescue!

Find this handy feature in the Edit menu in the rental or sales item screen. Position your selection on the item you want to put a note UNDER.

In our example below, we put a note for the Labor sales item.

On the ticket, the Locked Free Text Note will appear, as if by magic, on the contract directly under the selected item!

Back in the ticket, the item with a Locked Free Text Note will be hyperlinked, and if you hover over it with your mouse the note will show on the screen. You can click the hyperlink to go back to the note to add or edit.
